At RHHS in Ms Tussey’s Principles of Marketing class, students hosted the 5th Annual Food Truck Competition this week! 🚚🍔🌮🍝🦞🍗 Throughout the semester, these talented students have been hard at work creating their very own food truck businesses. Students have spent months developing a full-fledged business and marketing plan for a food truck, including: ☑️ Business Name & Concept ☑️ Logo Design ☑️ Menu Development ☑️ Marketing & Promotion Strategies ☑️ SWOT Analysis ☑️ Target Market Segmentation ☑️ and so much more! Today was the day where they got to show off their creativity, hard work, and present their projects to the rest of the school! Each group set up a display boards to showcase their work, explain their process, and pitch their food truck business idea to visiting students and staff. Congrats to everyone on a job well done! In Ms. Tussey's Career Explorations class, they took professionalism to the next level! 🌟 Over the past three days, students participated in mock interviews with local community leaders, putting their polished résumés, interview skills, and confidence to the test. For many students, this is their first time interviewing. These mock interviews help them practice the skills they need to succeed in real-world professional settings, from crafting strong résumés to mastering the art of communication, and making a lasting first impression. And as you can see, students were dressed to impress in business casual for their mock interviews! From firm handshakes to thoughtful questions, they received glowing compliments from interviewers who were impressed by their preparation and soft skills. We're excited to see our students’ confidence and professionalism continue to grow! 🌟 A huge thank you to Casey State Bank of Lawrenceville for their generous donation of padfolios, which added a professional touch and helped students feel equipped for success. Your support is truly making a difference in shaping these future leaders! 💼👏 An extra BIG thank you to all of our incredible interviewers who came in and took time away from work to interview our students. This event wouldn’t have been possible without your time and dedication. We truly appreciate it!

Preparing Students for Success at RHHS: Thank You, Casey State Bank! We are so grateful to Casey State Bank of Lawrenceville for their incredible donation of 100 professional padfolios to Ms. Tussey's Career Explorations students! 🎉 These high-quality padfolios (notepad+portfolio) will not only help our students stay organized during their mock interviews next week but also serve as a practical tool they can use in their future endeavors. It’s a generous gift that truly sets them up for success! But that's not all! Casey State Bank (CSB) is also going above and beyond by sending representatives to assist with the mock interviews next week. This hands-on experience is invaluable, giving our students the chance to practice their interview skills, build confidence, and prepare for the real world. In Ms. Tussey's Career Explorations class, students gain valuable real-world life skills, including the art of interviewing. Mock interviews play a crucial role in building their confidence and preparing them for the workforce. By practicing in a realistic setting, students learn how to present themselves professionally, answer common questions, and handle nerves—setting them up for success in their future careers! Over the past few weeks, these students have been hard at work creating their first résumés and practicing interview questions. Thanks to this partnership with CSB, they’ll be even better prepared to shine in their future opportunities! 💼✨ Thank you, Casey State Bank, for investing in the future of our students! A special thank you to Brandon Gurley (Vice President Commercial/Ag Loan Officer) and Paige Harvey (Loan Assistant) for their efforts in making this generous donation possible! 💙
