Red Hill's Fine Art Friday Artist is Lilah Johnson. Lilah is taking 8th Grade Art this semester. She did a fantastic job on her first project for the semester. This still life drawing was created from direct observation using a graphite pencil. #fineartfriday #rhhsart #redhillart

TOMORROW is the BIG Retake date at SAC!
We will be having picture retakes - FINALLY! If your child was absent, a new student, or needs a picture retaken, please have them come to school ready for picture day.
We will also be taking cheer, boys' and girls' basketball pictures, as well as 5th & 6th Grade Band and Choir pictures. For those individuals who are quarantined, we will be having another date in the future to take pictures we were unable to take.
Be sure your child has exactly what they need. Pictures will be taken starting at 1 PM tomorrow. Thanks everyone for making this a successful day.

Jr High Boys Basketball Regional
There will be a HS softball meeting in the HS Cafeteria on January 31st at 6pm.
The Jr High Boys Basketball game scheduled for tonight vs Martinsville is cancelled. 8th grade night will be held on Tuesday when we play Oblong.

LIC Girls Basketball Tournament starts Thursday.

Red Hill Jr/Sr High School is excited to be hosting the LOVC Girl’s Basketball Tournament this Saturday, January 8th. Admission to the tournament is $5. There is parking on the north and south sides of the school. There will be a gate open on the south end of the gym.
Tourney Schedule-
OPH vs Dugger - 2:30 p.m.
Red Hill vs OPH - 4:00 p.m.
Dugger vs Red Hill - 6:30 p.m.

The Red Hill Art Department would like to spotlight Alex Ash for Fine Art Friday. Alex is a Junior taking Art Foundations I. For this project, Alex had to create a perspective drawing using pencil. Alex was inspired by the Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. She did an excellent job with showing depth, space, and a lot of detail! Great job, Alex!

Attention Lady Saluki Basketball parents and fans! Louisville North Clay is short players so there will be no JV basketball game tonight. Wabash Communications plans to televise tomorrow night’s Girls Basketball game in Louisville. Game time is still 6:15. The Varsity game will be televised on both Wabash Cable and Facebook Live at Catch TV Live Broadcasting. The following should be the link to the telecast:

Well, it was an exciting weekend for our 2021 Elks Hoop Shoot participants. SAC had several participants Saturday. SAC was definitely in the building to bring the trophies home. We had 5 placements in the divisions. We are so proud of all who participated. Here are the trophies given to our students for their performance on Saturday.
Charlie Hill placed 1st in the age 8-9 Girls' bracket.
Lane Thacker placed 1st in the age 8-9 Boys' bracket.
Ross Moore placed 2nd in the age 10-11 Boys' bracket.
Bradley Buchanan placed 3rd in the age 10-11 Boys' bracket.
Baron Young placed 3rd in the age 12-13 Boys' bracket.
Once again, we are so proud of the students and their accomplishments. The next phase of the competition will be in January. We look forward to seeing the outcome of the next round. GO Salukis!
