On Friday, May 13th, the 5th, and 6th-grade students participated in career day.
There were 3 sessions with time for questions and answers that each student could attend. The speakers told the students about their careers, education, and opportunities. The professions covered were: nurses, lawyers, judges, sheriff’s deputies, welding, computer graphics/art, EMTs, firefighters, and farmers. A huge shout out to the professionals that took time out of their day to make our first career day a success. Also, a big thank you to the 6th-grade student volunteers that greeted and introduced the speakers and showed them to their rooms.
Thank you, everyone!
