FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS
Students participating in any school sports program in the 2024-2025 school year are required to have a physical completed within the past year on file at the school. These physicals need to be completed before your child begins practice. Physicals will be provided at Red Hill Junior Senior High School on February 27th and Sumner Attendance Center on February 29th. There is no cost for the physical. The physical examinations will be provided by the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital Primary Care Clinic. The District offers these physicals as a service and parents are under no obligation to have their child’s physical done at school. If preferred, you are welcome to have the physical completed by your child’s personal healthcare provider. In order for your child to have their physical at school, you must complete the consent form and fill out the highlighted general information and health history section of the physical form. These can be picked up at the school office by you or your student. If your child will be in 6th or 9th grade next year a physical form and consent has been mailed to your residence. The consent form and the highlighted health history section of the physical form must be completed and returned to Red Hill Jr/Sr High school by February 20th and Sumner Attendance Center by February 22nd.
